CALL FOR PLENARY SPEAKERS

Dear Physiologists,

We are pleased to announce that the 2026 International Conference of Physiological Sciences (ICPS2026) will be held in Beijing, China, at the Capital International Convention Center from 16 to 18 October 2026. The conference is hosted by the Chinese Association for Physiological Sciences (CAPS), which in 2026 proudly celebrates its centenary.

Under the theme “Centenary Journey, New Voyage,” ICPS2026 will mark CAPS’s 100^th anniversary with a series of special commemorative sessions and events celebrating a century of advances in physiological science. The conference will also provide an excellent forum for physiologists worldwide to convene, exchange cutting‑edge research, and explore how fundamental physiological principles are integrated across systems and translated into techniques and tools that improve health outcomes.

We cordially invite you and your colleagues to submit nominations for Plenary Lecturers at the Congress. Please send nomination materials to Dr. Ren Xijing at renxijing@caps-china.org.cn between 1 November 2025 and 31 January 2026. All nominations will be reviewed by the Scientific Program Committee. Conference expenses for invited plenary speakers will be supported.

For your information, the call for proposals for Symposia will be issued in early 2026.

We look forward to your participation in this milestone meeting and to celebrating a century of physiological discovery together.

Please include the following information in your proposal for a plenary speaker:

1. Your contact details: name and title, institution, telephone number, email address, and full postal address.

2. Tentative title of the proposed plenary lecture.

3. Contact details of the proposed speaker: name and title, institution, and email address.

4. Five full citations of recent publications by the proposed speaker.

5. A short narrative (maximum 2,000 characters, including spaces) explaining the scientific rationale for the suggested topic and speaker. Please address the following points specifically:

(a) Timeliness and relevance of the topic.

(b) Key scientific contributions of the proposed speaker.

(c) Reasons the candidate should be selected by the he Scientific Program Committee.
