Travel Award at the PSJ meeting [Deadline Oct 31]

The 94th Annual Meeting of the Physiological Society of Japan

The Annual Meeting Committee will offer up to 10 travel awards of ¥50,000 each to support participants from outside Japan who have advanced to PhD candidacy or are postdoctoral fellows to attend this meeting. Awardees must submit an abstract for the poster session of the meeting by the deadline of October 31, 2016 thorough our online abstract submission system (the system will be opened on September 9, 2016). Recipients are selected based on the scientific merit of the abstract and the strength of related application materials.

Awards in cash drawn on YEN will be presented to recipients at the meeting on the final day. Recipients must attend the meeting.

How to apply

The following materials are further required:

･  One page Curriculum Vitae (CV), including country of residency and education (note when applicant advanced to PhD candidacy), honors, awards, and publications.

･  A scanned copy of one letter of recommendation from an academic advisor with his/her signature.

･  A copy of the abstract submitted through the online submission system.

Eligibility

･  Citizenship or permanent residency outside Japan (indicate on CV)

･  Enrollment as a graduate student who has advanced to PhD candidacy or postdoctoral fellows

･  Applicant is the first author of an abstract to be presented at the meeting
