Joining Procedure for Chinese Membership:

1. Create an account
2. Fill in the personal information
3. Pay the membership fee
4. Enjoy member privileges

Joining Procedure for Foreign Membership:

Foreign membership admission follows a recommendation system. Foreign applicants must be recommended by current or former council member of CAPS. 

1. Complete the “Foreign Membership Recommendation Form”
2. Submit the form to the secretariat at office@caps-china.org.cn
3. Review progress
4. Receive an Email for Initial Registration and Membership Fee Payment
5. Pay the membership fee
6. Enjoy member privileges

Notice:

1. It is imperative that recommenders provide a thorough account of their relationship with the foreign applicant, along with the rationale underpinning their recommendation. In accordance with the principle of "whoever recommends takes responsibility," in the event that a foreign applicant is found to have violated the constitution, harmed the interests of CAPS, or engaged in other illegal or disciplinary behavior subsequent to their admission to CAPS, and if approved by the Board of Directors or the Executive Board, they will be expelled. In cases of utmost severity, an investigation will be conducted into the negligence of the recommender.
2. Distinguished experts and scholars from foreign countries who have achieved academic excellence, exhibit a friendly attitude toward China, and are inclined to engage in communication and collaboration with CAPS are eligible for consideration.

 Member Privileges

Upon successful completion of the registration process and payment of membership dues, the following privileges will be available to the individual:

1. CAPS provides complimentary electronic copies of the CAPS News Communication.
2. The members are eligible to receive a reduction in registration costs for conferences that are organized by CAPS.
3. The members will receive notifications regarding CAPS events via their personal email addresses.
